We have cabins floating on lakes, gothic treehouse palaces and simple huts alone in sun-drenched woodland. Each space personally visited by a member of our team, and deemed inspiring, exciting and adventure-worthy enough to join the collection – come see the finest of glamping in France, and explore the Gallic wild.

About glamping in France

What should I do on a glamping weekend break? Glamping in France could be many things, it could be hiking and wild swimming, charging across the countryside in search of film-worthy French villages, and croissant and coffee in town squares. We’d like to give you permission to do nothing at all – relax, breathe, take it in, switch off your phone, forget the hour and listen to the wild soundscape, as you drift off under a book for an eye mask.

What do I need to take for a glamping weekend? Glamping in France should be like glamping anywhere. You need as little as you want. It’s always worth checking “the essentials” section of our site for details, but generally you can turn up with a couple of changes of clothes and you’ll be fine. Just concentrate on unwinding in the French wild, and leave all the distractions at home.

What about food? We’ve got a “food and drink” section on all our spaces, and you can check there to see if there’ll be a hamper waiting, or even a meal from your hosts! If not, check your journey to the space for farm shops to raid on the way – to taste the best of the region and support local businesses! Could you really go glamping in France, and not sample every cheese you find?

How do I find the right place for me? First step, is working out how wild you’re going to go, and no that’s not how stuffed the wine cooler is. Looking for wilderness as far as the eye can see? or would you rather do your nature watching over the twin rims of a glass and a bath tub? If you’re looking to go glamping in France, have a good read of our site and check what each place has got for you.
